Member Message Boards & Newsgroups

HWA member boards and newsgroups listed below are maintained by a number of various outlets such as SFF Net (SFF ng),Horror World (HW), Dueling Modems (DM.net) and Authorsden (AD). SFF Net and Dueling modems offer HWA members free newsgroups, author topic areas, or message boards, wheras MoT and TT are by invitation. As well, some publishing houses offer message boards for their authors. If you know of an HWA member with a message board or newsgroup not shown here, please let us know.

Member Newsletters & Mailing Lists

Members also keep in touch with their fans and peers through periodic e-mail newsletters. Some simply keep a list of addresses in a private folder in their mail system, most use third-party facilities like Topica or Yahoogroups, but all are FREE to subscribers, and the third parties are pretty good about not giving out your address to anyone. Are you a member with a newsletter you'd like added here? We're waiting for your call with a worm on our tongue (baited breath).

Member Blogs

Members also often write blogs (or weblogs) to let friends or fans know what is going on in their professional or personal lives. Do you blog? Send us a line and we'll list you here!

Member MYSPACE Pages

Some members use a massive site known as MySpace to network with other authors and fans and to announce their latest projects. There are often additional blogs associate with MySpace sites. If you have one, please notify us so we can tell people about your -- er -- space.

HWA Member Web Pages

Most Author Web pages are maintained by the authors themselves, though some are the work of eager fans. HWA is not responsible for personal web content. Most members choose to talk about their writing or themselves, though some address other topics entirely. Some readers may find material on certain sites offensive.

Are you a member and have a home page? If so, drop us a line at webmaster@horror.org and we'll add your site to the list.

Many HWAns' pages are sponsored by SFF Net. If you are a published member of HWA, you may be eligible for a professional discount. Check out SFF Net's membership plans and see for yourself.
