Also, Nick's story "The Dead Stay Dead," which made it to the Preliminary Ballot of 2000 Stoker Awards, has seen some interest from an independent filmmaker who may include it as one of the stories in an anthology-style horror movie.

Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, August Derleth, Arthur Machen, M.R. James, Ambrose Bierce, Lord Dunsany, Algernon Blackwood, William Hope Hodgson, Clark Ashton Smith, Frank Belknap Long, and J. Sheridan Le Fanu).
The last article will be a summary of authors not covered by individual articles. The first article should be in Hellnotes this month. J.V. Sanders has resigned as Assistant Editor of Fortean Bureau and cites the magazine's new editorial philosophy as the reason. "Switching from dark fantasy and horror to science fiction opens up some exciting new possibilities for FB. At the moment, though, my interest in sci fi is limited to the new DUNE novels by Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson, so leaving the magazine at this point seemed like the right thing to do. Needless to say, I had a great time at Fortean Bureau and I wish everyone there continued success."
"Rite of the Fire Demon" by J.V. Sanders has been recommended for a 2002 Bram Stoker Award. Originally published in the October 2002 issue of Fortean Bureau, the story is currently available in the magazine's online archives.J.V.'s illustrated article, "The Lovecraftian Art of John Coulthart," can also be found in the online archives of Fortean Bureau.
