Authors for the May KGB Reading Series

Ellen Datlow and Matthew Kressel, hosts of the Fantastic Fiction at KGB Reading Series, present two readers for May.

The first reader is Victor LaValle, the author of three novels, a collection of stories, and two novellas. His latest novella, The Ballad of Black Tom, was recently published by Tor. Among other awards, he has won the Shirley Jackson Award and an American Book Award for his novel Big Machine. He teaches at Columbia University.

Damien Angelica Walters is the author of Paper Tigers, recently published, and Sing Me Your Scars. Her short fiction has been nominated twice for a Bram Stoker Award®, reprinted in The Year’s Best Dark Fantasy & Horror and The Year’s Best Weird Fiction, and published in numerous anthologies and magazines. She lives in Maryland with her husband and two rescued pit bulls
