Catherine Scully, Editor
A fan of monsters that you kill versus ones that you date, Catherine Scully is a Writer and Illustrator of all things dark and whimsical. She served as Editor with literary magazines The Nomad and Vision and Voice, worked as an illustrator for the U.S. Army, and designed branding for clients like AT&T, Comedy Central, and Cartoon Network. Currently, she writes young adult horror and works in brand management while pursuing her MFA in writing at Kennesaw State University. She can usually be found watching Sam Raimi movies with her husband, son, and pet rabbits. She is represented by Carrie Howland of Donadio and Olson.
Cynthia Pelayo, Assistant Editor
Cynthia Pelayo grew up in a haunted house with superstitious parents in Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Journalism from Columbia College, a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication from Roosevelt University and a Master of Fine Art in Writing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Pelayo’s short story collection Loteria was released in 2012. Her YA Horror novel Santa Muerte will be published soon by Post Mortem Press. Pelayo is the Publisher/Gravedigger of Burial Day Books, a boutique horror press. She lives with her husband and two angry shih tzus in the very neighborhood she was raised.
