Following the overwhelming success of the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Awards™ Weekend at Burbank in 2009 and on Long Island in June 2011, HWA will be running another stand-alone Bram Stoker Awards® Weekend in New Orleans from June 13-16, 2013.

And in an exciting innovation HWA will host World Horror Convention as part of our Weekend, which will be officially titled the Bram Stoker Awards® Weekend incorporating World Horror Convention 2013.

This also means there will be only one major Horror Convention in 2013 - our event in New Orleans. And the Event will be held at the newly renovated Hotel Monteleone, right in the heart of the French Quarter. The Hotel is regarded as a literary icon and of course New Orleans itself is both historic, and haunted.

There are two major components to HWA's 25th Anniversary celebrations:

• The Bram Stoker Awards® Weekend convention; and
• The Bram Stoker Awards® Banquet.

While we are also hosting the World Horror Convention, the sponsorships are entirely HWA events, and the sponsorship packages we offer are not related to the WHC components.

This website will prominently feature our sponsors. We again expect more than 300 horror professionals and fans in attendance. In addition, the Bram Stoker Awards® Banquet will be broadcast live over the Internet for the third year. Last year, more than 700 people signed in to watch this stream live and thousands more viewed it later.

Our Guests of Honor include renowned authors Ramsey Campbell, Caitlin R. Kiernan, and Jonathan Maberry, and acclaimed editor John Joseph Adams.
